Most important suppliers used in this project#

The list of providers that I have used in this project is quite extensive, so I am only going to focus on the most relevant ones.

Fabless Manufacturing#

These people are great. They make various engine swap kits for the VW Golf MK1/2/3 and the VW Corrado. Discovering them was a great stroke of luck, and I would recommend them for both their service and the quality of their products. If you are doing a swap on a Golf, this is the place for engine mounts, subframes and all the other little extras needed to keep things running smoothly.

Epytec#

Another great find. They sell a lot of adapters for brakes and gearboxes, and if they do not have the adapter you need, they can make it for you — as they did for me. Very good customer service and high-quality products. I had to contact them several times for various reasons, and the customer service was always excellent.

Ceika#

This was a bad find. The customer service was terrible — it has to be said that the products themselves are of good quality, but my overall experience with the company was very poor. My story with them is simple to tell: due to a communication error on their end, I had to pay VAT and customs duties twice on a brake kit worth around €2,000. Mistakes happen to everyone, but how you handle them is what makes the difference, and they simply washed their hands of the problem.

FMIC.eu Performance#

Another interesting website, based in Poland, selling radiators, intercoolers and other parts. Both the radiators and the intercoolers are of high quality. The service was good throughout, although I never actually had to contact them, since there were no issues with any of the orders I made.
